We build SkipHub in the United Kingdom, alongside the operators who use it. Every screen is shaped by the phone calls, the yard, and the road — not a boardroom.
SkipHub didn't start in an office. It started in a yard, on a Tuesday morning, with three spreadsheets open, a paper diary at the desk, and a phone that wouldn't stop ringing. A driver was waiting on an address. A customer wanted to know where their skip was. An invoice from the week before still hadn't been sent.
The kit on the market was either too big — software priced for national waste contractors and weighed down by features the yard didn't need — or too small, a single spreadsheet bolted to a postcode lookup. There was nothing in the middle that knew the trade. Permits, WTNs, surcharges, exchanges, aged hire, the lot.
So we set out to build it. Not for the trade, but with it. Every feature shipped after sitting in the yard, on the phone, in the driver's cab. Every workflow built around the way the booking really happens, not the way someone in a meeting room imagined it. The result is SkipHub: an operating system for a skip hire business, one screen, one price.
We're a small team in the UK. We pick up the phone. We answer emails the same working day. When something goes wrong, we fix it — usually before you've finished writing the bug report.
UK team, UK data centres, UK trade.
Not a helpdesk. Not a ticket queue. The team.
Bug reports acknowledged before close of business.
Every feature shipped after the yard signed off.
Every screen, every workflow, every label is sense-checked by people who run skip yards for a living. If a feature doesn't make a real Tuesday morning easier, we don't ship it.
No tiers. No upsells. No paywalled modules. You pay one monthly subscription and you get the platform — including every feature we ship next year, and the year after that.
Every record exports as CSV or PDF, any time. If you ever leave us, you take everything with you. We earn the subscription each month, we don't hold it hostage.
Support is a phone number and an email, answered by people who know skip hire. Bug reports get acknowledged the same working day. We don't make you wrestle a helpdesk.
The first piece of software I've used that understood a Tuesday morning in a skip yard.
There aren't layers between you and the people building the platform. The person you speak to about onboarding is the person who'll be on the call if you ever need a hand.
Builds the platform, answers the phone, walks the yard. The buck stops here.
